June 21st: Kids in the Kitchen--Salads & Sweets!

Kids, come roll up your sleeves! GOFM's newest cooking class teaches us to make seasonally-inspired salads followed by simple desserts. Delicious and nutritious!

MENU:

Cucumber Yogurt Salad

Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Salad

Summer Squash with Parmesan Salad

Fruit Pizza

Chocolate Almond Cherry Crisps

No-Bake Chocolate Chunk Cookies

WHERE: The Bryan Museum - Galveston, in the conservatory

WHEN: June 21st, Thursday, 11am-1pm

**Ages 7-14. A parent/guardian must be present at class.

**15 spots are available.

**Class registration requires a $5.00 deposit that will be returned to students once they attend class.

Instructor Ashlyn Evans is a dietetic grad student at UTMB currently interning with GOFM. She is simultaneously getting her Master's Degree in Nutrition and Metabolism. A self-proclaimed science geek and recognized lazy cook, Ashlyn's cooking style combines nutrition science with delicious, yet, easy-breezy recipes the whole family can enjoy.
