Volunteer at YGP “Eat Fresh” Days!

GOFM’s Young Gardeners Program “Eat Fresh” Days are back!

With the support of the kitchens and the GISD Children's Nutrition Department, we'll be serving tasty seasonal produce to ALL the students at Burnet & Weis Elementary. ⁠

This is a fun volunteer opportunity that allows us to learn more about eating habits and feelings toward vegetables in the cafeteria. You’ll be interacting with students between K – 5th Grade during their lunch period and help prep items to be served!

📅 Dates are:⁠

• October 19- Weis & Burnet

  November 9 - Weis & Burnet

  January 11- Burnet only

  February 15 - Weis & Burnet

  March 7 - Weis & Burnet

  April 11 - Burnet only

🕘️ Shifts:⁠

• Weis - 10:30a-12:30p⁠

• Burnet - 10:30a–1:30p⁠

  • Two Shifts:

    • 10:30a-12:15p shift

    • 12-1:30p shift
