From a young age, Melissa, discovered an affinity for the arts, especially in the realm of fiber. This early interest blossomed into a specialization in macramé, a form of textile art that involves knotting techniques to create intricate patterns and designs. But Melissa's talents don’t end with fibers. When did you first get started?
The business was founded in 2021, but I began my journey as a fiber artist almost 30 years ago.
What inspired you to start your business?
I started my business to be able to provide my customers beautiful pieces at affordable prices that are not only beautiful, but also functional and full of intention. As I make each piece I think about the customer that will buy it and put all the positive energy I can into the piece for them.
What is your favorite thing to make/produce?
My favorite thing to make is my Tree of Life Wall Hangings. These have so much good energy and they bring so much joy to all that have bought them.
Where are you from/where did you grow up?
I was born in Kentucky, but I moved to League City in early childhood and grew up there, returning to Kentucky during summers to learn fiber arts, and the art of herbalism from my grandmother.
